Funded Therapy That Puts You Back in Control
Access NDIS and Worker's Compensation Funded Psychological Support that feels human, collaborative and genuinely supportive not clinical, confusing, or transactional.
At Syné Collective, we work with people who want to feel heard, respected and involved in their own care.
Whether you are navigating the NDIS, or receiving support through a workplace injury claim, we're here to make therapy feel accessible, empowering and aligned with you and your needs.
Located in our warm & intentional space in the heart of Sydney, or online via Telehealth, we are available to Plan-Managed and Self-Managed participants looking for Capability Building under the NDIS.
A Different Approach
More Than a
"Tick-of-the-Box"
Our funded services are for people who want therapy that feels ethical, transparent, and genuinely supportive — especially if your experience of funded systems has left you feeling disappointed, powerless, or cautious.
You might be:
-
An NDIS Participant who has received little actual care despite regular charges, or who has felt like services were delivered to you, rather than with you
-
A Family Member, Friend or Carer who has watched a loved one encounter poor-quality or impersonal support under registered providers where their voice, preferences and autonomy were sidelined
-
An individual navigating a worker's compensation claim who feels pressured to "return to work" before you're psychologically ready, with decisions driven by timelines and cost rather than your wellbeing
-
Feeling worn down by assessments, reports and processes that prioritise compliance over genuine mental health support.
If you’ve ever felt like your care was shaped by a system — rather than by your needs as a human being — you’re not alone.
We work with people who want to be active participants in their own care, who value being listened to, and who are seeking psychological support that restores agency, rather than eroding it.
Rewriting the Narrative
Many people tell us the same thing: funded systems can feel impersonal, rigid, and disempowering. Feedback often goes unheard. Decisions are made about people rather than with them.
At Syné Collective, we intentionally work differently.
Our team of psychotherapists brings more than clinical training and compassionate care to the work. Many of us have personal, lived experience supporting and advocating for loved ones within the NDIS. We understand — not just professionally, but personally — how exhausting, confusing, and at times dehumanising these systems can be.
That perspective shapes everything we do.
It means we are deeply attuned to issues of power, autonomy, and dignity. We prioritise transparency, collaboration, and consent. And we are careful not to replicate the very dynamics that so often leave people feeling unheard or diminished.
We believe therapy should:
-
Honour your voice and lived experience
-
Involve you as an active participant in your care
-
Support long-term wellbeing — not just compliance or outcomes on paper
Our clinicians take the time to understand who you are beyond your plan or claim, and we collaborate with you to shape therapy in a way that feels meaningful, safe, and genuinely supportive.

Worker's Compensation Psychological Support
Have you sustained a psychological injury at work? Are you recovering from stress, anxiety or trauma linked to your workplace?
Psychological Support through Worker's Compensation can be an important part of recovery — but the process itself can sometimes add more stress, in a time where you need lightness.
We support individuals who are:
-
Recovering from Workplace Injury or Psychological Harm
-
Navigating Identity Changes, Grief or Loss related to work
-
Preparing to Return-to-Work or adjusting to long-term changes
Our approach is compassionate, non-judgmental and paced according to your needs, not external pressure.

Getting Started
If you think your circumstances may be eligible for Worker's Compensation or NDIS Support, please do not hesitate to get in touch. We will guide you through eligibility, funding requirements, and booking so you can access therapy quickly and confidently.
If you are a Doctor, GP, Service Provider, Insurer, Plan Manager, Carer or Nominated Manager, we welcome any inquiries and have immediate availability to support your community.
If you are not based in Sydney and able to attend our rooms in person, we offer Therapy services via Telehealth and manage Case Conferences remotely, ensuring access to care, wherever you are.
Too often, NDIS participants move through systems where their voices are invited in theory, but rarely heard in practice. Care can become rushed, transactional, or shaped by convenience rather than genuine wellbeing — leaving people feeling disempowered and disconnected from their own support.
At Syné Collective, psychotherapy is never a one way conversation. It is a collaborative process, shaped by dialogue, consent, and ongoing responsiveness to your needs.
Feedback at Syné Collective isn’t institutionalised or extracted — it’s relational. It lives in the small, ongoing moments of therapy: gentle questions, shared reflections, and open dialogue that strengthens the therapeutic alliance. What you say matters, and it actively shapes the way we work together.
We don't collect feedback to set it aside or treat it as a form to complete or process to manage. We invite honesty and respond thoughtfully, adjusting the work as we go.
Thoughtful Care, On Your Terms.
A Note on Accessibility & Inclusion
We are committed to creating a safe, welcoming, and accessible environment for all participants, including people with disability.
Our practice rooms are located in a fully accessible commercial building with lift access and level entry. The building has general disabled access features, and our rooms are designed to be barrier‑free where possible to support people who use mobility aids or have other physical accessibility needs.
If you have specific questions about accessibility (e.g., accessible toilets, entry points, or parking), we’re happy to help you with details or support you in advance of your visit.
We want therapy to be accessible in ways that work for you.
-
While our clinicians do not currently use Auslan or formal sign languages in person, people who are Deaf or hard of hearing are welcome to participate in sessions via telehealth using technology such as voice‑to‑text, captioning, or other assistive communication tools that support comfortable and meaningful communication.
-
Alternatively, with your consent, you are welcome to attend sessions with a professional interpreter (e.g., Auslan interpreter) — this is an accessibility support, and interpreters bound by professional confidentiality are a normal part of collaborative care.
We understand that accessibility can look different for everyone, and we’re always open to discussing what adjustments would make your experience more comfortable, supportive, and effective.
