About

Co-Founder & Psychotherapist

Tania Grippi is an accredited Psychotherapist with over 30 years experience and a background in Psychology and Disability Casework. Tania specialises in perfectionism, high-functioning anxiety, overthinking, rumination, people-pleasing, boundaries, emotional regulation, stress and burnout.

After raising her family, she returned to clinical practice with renewed clarity and insight into the emotional patterns that shape who we become.

Holding a Master's in Counselling and Psychotherapy from ACAP, and a Bachelor of Arts (Psychology) from UNSW, Tania blends psychodynamic and relational approaches with evidence-based modalities, creating a warm, grounded space where insight, honesty and emotional safety intersect.

She works with adults navigating identity  — personal, relational, cultural, professional and gender-related  — supporting LGBTIQA+ clients, particularly those exploring gender and sexual identity, as well as Kink-Aligned or Alternative Relationship Dynamics.

Her practice also addresses relational and attachment-based concerns, including Adult Children of Emotionally Immature Parents (ACEI/ACoA), Attachment Theory and those impacted by Childhood Emotional Neglect (CEN) or processing complex trauma.

Tania's personal experience  — growing up as one of seven children in a complex family and as the daughter of immigrants  —  informas her understanding of intergenerational dynamics, belonging and self-worth. She also supports clients with imposter syndrome, life transitions, self-esteem challenges, and Highly Sensitive People (HSP).

Tania has a particular interest in identity, personality and more complex mental health presentations, including Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD), bipolar disorder, schizophrenia and OCD. She works beyond the diagnosis, exploring how experiences of self, relationships, attachment and emotional regulation intersect with mental health — helping clients better understand their inner world without reducing who they are to a label.
