Maria Herguedas Irazu is an Accredited Psychotherapist & Sexologist with a strong foundation in education and early childhood development with a Masters in Counselling & Psychotherapy from ACAP, along with a Masters in Sexology, Bachelor's in Psychology and a Masters in Education.
With a strong background in teaching and childcare, Maria brings a deep understanding of development and educational contexts to her therapeutic work.
Offering specialised psychotherapy for ADHD in adults, or for those who present with neurodiverse characteristics, Maria combines clinical insight with a practical, strengths-based approach to support clients in navigating learning, attention and behavioural challenges.
Working on adjustment of symptoms, relationship dynamics with the Gottman Method approach, and psycho-affective and sexual topics, Maria believes therapy should feel practical and relaxed, where we get to learn how to implement tools tailored to our needs.
Maria's expertise extends to sexuality and relationships, offering a safe informed space for clients to explore issues of identity, intimacy and self-understanding. Her practice is integrative, empathetic, and informed, offering bilingual counselling services in both English and Spanish.
